Lord, today as I searched my heart for residual and/or baggage that I have not released and/or confessed, I realize and now acknowledge there were some things of my past and even of my present that I’m ashamed of. I have blanketed my repentance with the bundle of “you know my heart”. While this is true, I need to acknowledge and release those scattered pains to prepare for this new thing you are blessing me with. I want to search my heart for the unique purpose you have placed in my life so that I may be properly mentored and honor you to the fullest. ~Venita
